The Daily Press, the live site

The Daily Press

A new cafe needed the menu, the hours and ordering ahead in one place, at its own address.

Cafe2026Web developmentNext.js, Tailwind, NestJS, Postgres, Clover, Vercel

What we did and the outcome

What we did

  • The full menu with every price, in sections named like a newspaper's: the espresso desk, the deli desk, the pastry press
  • Ordering ahead for pickup, curbside or delivery, and a closed cafe still takes an order for later
  • Open or closed, with the next opening time, at the top of every page
  • Accounts that keep past orders and press points toward free drinks and pastries

The outcome

Live at dailypresscafe.com. Every price is on the menu, and every page says whether the cafe is open.
