Google Business Profile questions.

Is Google My Business worth it?

Yes. The listing costs nothing to claim, and it is what Google shows on Maps and in search when someone looks for a business like yours. Google has since renamed it Google Business Profile. It pays off when the hours, photos and services stay current and every review gets an answer.

What do you need from us?

Owner access to the listing, your hours, and photos we can publish. If the listing is not claimed yet, we claim it and take it through Google's verification in your name. Tell us which services and areas to list, since those shape the searches the listing appears in.

Who owns the listing?

You do. The listing, its login and every photo we uploaded stay yours. We work on it with the access you give us, and you can remove that access at any time: the reviews, posts and photos stay on the listing either way.

What are Google's business profile management guidelines?

Google's guidelines ask for the business's real name with no added keywords, and a real address or service area. Hours and categories must be accurate, and each location gets one listing. Breaking the rules can get a listing suspended, so we keep every listing we manage inside them.

What are services for optimizing Google Business Profiles?

They are the regular work that keeps a listing complete and current. That means the right categories, services and areas, real photos, a post each month and a reply to every review. Ours does all of it and reports each month who called, asked for directions or tapped through to your site.

What is GMB in business?

GMB is short for the old name of Google Business Profile, the free listing that shows a business on Google Maps and in search. Google changed the name, but many owners still say GMB. The listing holds the business's hours, phone, address or service area, photos, posts and reviews.

How to manage several GMB locations?

Give each location its own listing, with its own address, hours and phone. Keep them together in one business group, so one login reaches all of them. Each listing needs its own photos, posts and review replies. We manage every location the same way and report on each one.

How to rank on Google Maps?

Keep the listing complete and correct, pick the right categories, add real photos and answer every review. Google says it ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. Those steps raise relevance and prominence; distance depends on where the searcher is, so nobody can change it.

Who can manage my Google Business Profile?

Anyone the owner adds to it, such as a staff member or an agency. Owners can add and remove managers at any time, and a manager cannot remove the owner. When you hire us you add us, and you can remove us the same way.
