Web N' Social LLC builds sites that everyone can use, and we hold this one to the same standard we sell. This page says what that means in practice, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us when we have missed something.
The standard we build to
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We aim to meet it on every page of this site, and we check against it before anything ships rather than afterwards.
What we have done
- Semantic structure: real headings in order, landmarks on every page, lists that are lists.
- Keyboard operation: every control can be reached and used without a mouse, in a sensible order, and a skip link jumps straight to the main content.
- Visible focus: the focused control is outlined clearly on every background on the site.
- Contrast: body and interface text meets 4.5:1 against its background, and control borders meet 3:1.
- Reduced motion: if your system asks for reduced motion, animation is turned off rather than merely shortened, and every element settles on its finished state.
- Text alternatives: images that carry meaning have descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
Known limitations
- The animated lightning on the home page is decorative. It carries no information, and it is turned off entirely when your system prefers reduced motion or when WebGL is unavailable in your browser. Nothing on the site depends on seeing it.
Tell us what we missed
If any part of this site is hard to use, email support@webnsocial.com with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five business days, and we will tell you what we are doing about it and when.
If that does not resolve it
If five business days pass without a reply you can use, write again to the same address and ask for the owner directly. Your message goes to a person, not a queue.
This statement
Prepared and effective , based on our own review of the live site. It is revisited whenever the site changes materially. See also our privacy policy and terms of use.
The rest of the paperwork.
- Privacy policyWhat we collect through this site, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
- Terms of useWhat you agree to by using this site, and what the signed proposal covers instead.
A question about any of these goes to support@webnsocial.com and reaches a person.
