This policy explains what Web N' Social LLC does with the information you give us, in plain words and with nothing left out. If anything here is unclear, write to support@webnsocial.com and ask.

Who we are

Web N' Social LLC, trading as Web N' Social, a marketing company serving clients across the United States, remote-first. We are the controller of the information described below. Contact: support@webnsocial.com.

What we collect

Three things, and nothing else.

  • What you send us through the contact form: your name, your email address, your business name, the service you picked, the message you wrote, and the referral code and campaign tags from the link you arrived on, if any. There is also an optional marketing opt-in, which is off unless you tick it.
  • Server logs: our host records the IP address and user agent of requests to the site, the way every web server does. Server logs are kept for no longer than 30 days.
  • Analytics, only if you accept them: how you use the site, recorded by Google Analytics when you choose Accept in our cookie banner. The next section says exactly what that is.

Analytics and cookies

If you choose Accept in our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service from Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use this site. It records the pages you view, how you arrived (for example from a search or a link), your device and browser type, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and two actions: a quote request our server accepted (only that it was the quote form, never what you wrote), and a tap on our email address (only that you tapped it). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We turned off Google signals and ad personalization, we do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we never send Google your name, your email address, your phone number or anything you type into the form. Before Google Analytics reads a page's address, we take out anything in it that could be a sign-in or checkout code, an order or an email address.

When you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies on this site, _ga and _ga_SM4R4E067X, which tell one browser from another and last up to 2 years. Google keeps the analytics data for 14 months.

If you choose Decline, Google Analytics does not load and sets no cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline: the banner does not ask and Google Analytics does not load, unless you click Accept yourself in Cookie settings, and once you click Accept, that choice stands even while the signal is on. We store your choice in your browser's local storage, under the name wns-analytics-consent, so we do not ask on every page. You can change it any time with , here or at the bottom of every page, and withdrawing deletes the Google Analytics cookies. Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

After you accept, we also keep the referral code and campaign tags from the link you arrived on, if any, in your browser's session storage, under the name wns-visit-attribution, so an enquiry can say how you found us. They are kept for that visit only: nothing is stored there before you accept, they clear when you close the tab, and they are removed if you decline or withdraw. A Global Privacy Control signal counts as a decline here too. Your choice and these tags are the only things this site itself stores on your device.

Why we use it

We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, quote the work and, if you hire us, run the project. That is the whole purpose. We only send you marketing if you separately opted in, and every one of those emails carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately. Declining marketing has no effect on your enquiry. Analytics, if you accept it, tells us which pages are read and which ones lead to a quote request, so we can improve the site.

Who receives it

  • Vercel, which hosts this site and keeps the server logs described above.
  • Our email delivery provider, which carries the message from the form to our inbox.
  • Neon, which hosts the database where we store what you send through the contact form.
  • Google, which runs Google Analytics, and only if you chose Accept in our cookie banner.

That is the full list. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not hand it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Server logs are kept for no longer than 30 days. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. If you become a client, project correspondence is kept for as long as the work runs and for the period our records and tax obligations require afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@webnsocial.com and we will act on the request within 30 days. You do not need a form or a particular wording, and we will not charge you for it.

Children

This site sells business services and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

Every version of this policy is numbered and dated at the top of this page. If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we announce it here before it takes effect, and we email anyone whose data is affected.
