Screen customers before they book

Put your rules in the booking form, check answers and documents there, and let only qualified customers book.

How do you screen customers before booking?

Every inquiry lands on me, qualified or not.

When every inquiry comes straight to the owner, the hours go to people who were never going to fit, and the good ones wait their turn. The first screen belongs in the form: the questions that decide fit, asked before contact details go anywhere. Ascend Exotics puts those questions in its online application, so they are answered before any booking exists.

Customers book, then turn out to fail our rules.

An age limit, a license requirement or an insurance rule discovered after the booking means a cancellation, a refund and an empty slot. Asking for those answers before a booking can be made turns a failed booking into a polite no at the form. The rules are yours; the form applies them the same way every time.

We check documents by hand after the booking.

Chasing a license photo or an insurance card by email after the booking is slow, and the booking sits uncertain until it arrives. Collecting the documents inside the application puts them in one place, attached to the right customer, before anything is confirmed. You review a complete file instead of a trail of messages.

Deposits and IDs get chased after the fact.

A deposit requested after the booking is one that sometimes never arrives, while the car, the room or the slot is held anyway. Stating the deposit before the booking, and asking for it as part of booking, closes that gap. Ascend Exotics lists the deposit with every car, so a driver knows the amount before applying.

What we build into the booking form.

  • Your rules asked before any booking
  • Documents collected in the application itself
  • The deposit stated before anyone applies

Customer screening questions.

How do I filter out tire kickers?

Make the first step take a little effort: publish your prices and rules, and ask the qualifying questions in the form. Someone who reads the price and the requirements and still applies is serious; someone who only wanted to chat moves on without taking your time. Ascend Exotics puts every car's day rate and deposit on its page, and its application checks license and insurance before any booking.

How do I qualify leads for a small business?

Decide the three or four facts that make a customer a fit, such as budget, timing, location or eligibility, and ask them first. Put them in the inquiry form or have an AI assistant ask them, then send only the matches to you with their answers attached. The rest get a polite reply that says what you do and do not take on.

How do I screen renters for car rental?

Check the driver before the car is reserved: age, a valid license, insurance that covers a rental, and how the deposit will be paid. Ascend Exotics' online application checks license, insurance and rental coverage before any booking exists, so the owner only talks to drivers who qualify. Photos of the license and the insurance card can be collected in the same form.

How do I verify customers before renting?

Ask for identity and eligibility inside the booking itself, then confirm both before the rental is final. Match the name on the license to the name on the payment card, check that the insurance is current, and keep a record of what was checked and when. A rental confirmed before those checks rests on trust alone.

How do I vet guests for direct bookings?

Give direct bookings the checks a marketplace would run for you: identity, contact details that work, and agreement to your house rules before confirming. Asking guests to accept the rules in the form, with a deposit held against damage, puts a cost on ignoring them. A guest who will not provide those details has answered the question for you.

Who keeps the applications customers send?

You do: the site's code, domain and accounts are yours, so the applications arrive in accounts you control. Nothing sits on a platform you rent, so leaving us never means losing your customer records. We set up where applications are stored and who gets notified; you decide what to keep and for how long.
